If you did not go to Barn Island on the field trip, you will be writing an essay about Long Island Sound (LIS).  You will have the entire period to do your research.  You must address all the components listed in the assignment.  You can share with me on Google docs (cellis@stoningtonschools.org) or send it to me as an attachment.  Deadline has been extended to the beginning of class on Wednesday for a hard copy.  Submissions after Wednesday will start to lose points for every day it is late.

You should start working on your creative essay for your final exam.  This will be due the day of your exam, so you can get started now.  This is a creative piece, but you should include some basic facts-see the description of the assignment for details.  You do not need to provide any sources except for any pictures you include.  Cited sources do NOT have to be in MLA format.  Seniors who have an A or better for the semester will be exempt from the exam and this assignment.  

Final exam study guide was handed out today.  You should start looking through it as there is a LOT of information to remember for the exam!!!

We reviewed tides in class today; yes this will be on the final exam.  You should complete your study guide in preparation for the final exam review that will take place on Thursday to prepare seniors for the exam.

Make sure you have completed your study guide packet in preparation for the final exam next week.  You MUST write your creative essay for the final exam-worth 50 points.  You can either bring a hard copy to the exam (last one on Friday), or e-mail it to me.  

SENIORS: your essay is due the day of the exam-Friday, 6/3.  GOOD LUCK ON YOUR EXAMS!!!!
